Round Lake

Directly off Route 9, there is room to park on the shoulder of the road and a dirt boat launch along with a grassy area that works great for launching a kayak.  The lake is very open with a small creek flowing in and a small creek flowing out.  A lot of the lake is surrounded by a swamp area filled with weeds which couldn't be paddled through when I was there other than the outlet creek which was fun to explore.  There was no noticeable current until I reached the beavers dam, where the creek narrowed and sped up noticeably.
