The culvert you need to propel yourself through (where I ran into the beaver)

There was a lot of seaweed near the far end of the creek.  It made paddling a little more difficult.

This seemed to be the end of the Papscanee Creek from what we could tell.  Didn't explore much because we were running out of time anyway.

As you can see there were a few areas with sticks blocking the way, but we had no problems getting around them.  Also some of the creek is very narrow as can be seen in the background.

Another one of the creeks we didn't have time to explore.

A beavers dam that we were able to paddle over on the way up and downstream.

The entrance to the Vierda Kill

Another picture of the entrance to the Vierda Kill on our way out.  Probably could have gotten through that pipe when we started, but now the water level is a little low.

The water level in this creek varies a lot with the tide.

Here's the wall that when we entered the creek we were able to just paddle over it and the bottom of the boats just rubbed on it.

A picture of the opening near the middle of the creek.

Another picture of the opening in the wall.  Helpful for getting back out.
